Sana'a: Damt Prosecution Office, in coordination with security agencies, destroyed on Sunday a quantity of alcohol seized over recent months at security checkpoints and entry points in Damt District, Dhale' governorate.
According to Yemen News Agency, the destruction took place in the presence of judicial and security officials. Deputy Prosecutor of Damt, Judge Ahmed Al-Lasbili, stated that the seized alcohol had been confiscated by security forces and that suspects were referred to court to complete legal procedures in accordance with the law.
Director of Security in the governorate, Brig. Gen. Hussein al-Hamzi, affirmed the continued coordination between judicial and security bodies to combat smuggling and protect public safety, praising citizens' cooperation in reporting illegal activities.
