Taiz: The General Authority for Endowments and Guidance office, in coordination with the Scholars and Intellectuals Unit, organized an awareness seminar titled 'The Cry of Freedom .. Foundations and Outcomes' at Bilal Mosque in Taiz Governorate on Wednesday. This event marked the annual anniversary of Al-Sarkah of 1447 AH.

According to Yemen News Agency, the seminar was attended by key officials including governorate mobilization official Mohammed Al-Khalidi, director of the Endowments and Guidance Office Mohammed Al-Maliki, the Scholars and Intellectuals Unit's Ali Al-Sarouri, and Al-Taizziyah district official Abdulkhaleq Al-Junaid. Cultural activist Ayman Al-Sulayhi delivered a presentation emphasizing the importance of the Al-Sarkah slogan, which symbolizes loyalty to the allies of Allah and disavowal of the enemies of Allah.

Al-Sulayhi highlighted the movement's origins under the late leader Hussein Badr al-Din Al-Houthi, which began in Hidan District, Sa'ada Governorate, as a well-studied initiative rooted in the Holy Quran. He discussed the security and military pressures faced by the movement in its early stages under the former regime and how the slogan of Al-Sarkah helped break barriers of silence and fear.

He further elaborated on the movement's resilience, noting that despite the imprisonment of hundreds for raising the Al-Sarkah slogan, continued persistence led to the downfall of what he termed 'the arrogant.' Al-Sulayhi underscored the movement's Quranic principles, stating they are firmly established and undefeatable.

The seminar also highlighted the global impact of the movement, with Al-Sulayhi referencing protests in Spain and other places where demonstrators chant against American hegemony. He urged the importance of the Quranic movement and Al-Sarkah, advocating for awareness of conspiracies against the nation's identity and creed. Al-Sulayhi called for support of summer courses to build a knowledgeable and conscious generation.
