Bani Al-Harith District Celebrates Prophet’s Birthday with Central Event

Bani al-harith: The Central Committee in Bani Al-Harith District of Capital Secretariat organized a central celebration on Sunday to commemorate the birth anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad. The event was attended by Capital Secretariat Mayor Dr. Hamoud Ubad and Shura Council member Adel Al-Hanbasi, featuring remarks from First Deputy Mayor Khaled Al-Madani.

According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Madani expressed pride in commemorating the Prophet's birthday out of love and reverence for the Prophet Muhammad. He highlighted that the Yemeni people's celebrations, marked by festivities and green decorations across streets, houses, shops, buildings, and mountains, uniquely express their devotion to the Prophet. Al-Madani affirmed that these large-scale celebrations are a source of honor for the people of Yemen, who have a longstanding historical relationship with the Prophet. He emphasized Yemen's early support and sacrifices for Islam.

Al-Madani urged continued participation in Mawlid events, building momentum toward the major celebration on 12 Rabi' al-Awwal. The event was also attended by Capital Secretariat Deputy Mayor Yahya Jameel, Sana'a Governorate Deputy Yahya Jamaan, and local council member Mohsen Haroun. Bani Al-Harith District Director Hamad bin Rakan praised the residents for their active participation, reaffirming their devotion to the Prophet's teachings. He noted the district's early preparations and community activities across neighborhoods to mark the occasion.

Meanwhile, the district's mobilization official, Mohammed Al-Gharbani, emphasized the importance of broad participation in commemorating the Prophet's birth. He urged the intensification of Mawlid activities, and the promotion of charity, solidarity, and social cooperation in emulation of the Prophet's character and life.
