Bayda:The local authority and mobilization office in Al-Malajem district of Bayda province organized a speech event on Tuesday to commemorate the 1448 AH Annual Martyr's Day.
According to Yemen News Agency, Bayda governor Abdullah Idrais emphasized the sacrifices made by martyrs in establishing the principles of independence and national sovereignty during the event. He described these martyrs as symbols of freedom, victory, dignity, and honor.
Governor Idrais also underscored the importance of supporting the families of martyrs and learning from their sacrifices. He called for widespread participation in the anniversary's activities, fostering stronger community solidarity, and increasing readiness to counteract what he referred to as plots targeting Yemen.
Additionally, speakers at the event highlighted the values of sacrifice and steadfastness, while expressing support for Palestinians and their resistance efforts in Gaza.
