Bayda Concludes Training Courses for Inmates at Central Prison

Bayda: Training courses in scientific, cultural, and vocational fields for inmates at Bayda Central Prison were concluded on Thursday, with the participation of 120 inmates.

According to Yemen News Agency, at the closing ceremony, Bayda governor Abdullah Idris emphasized the importance of holding training and rehabilitation courses for inmates in educational and cultural fields, particularly Quran memorization. He stressed the necessity of strengthening inmates' connection to God's guidance, emphasizing personal hygiene and the development of their guidance, professional, and vocational skills. He urged participants to apply the skills they acquired in practical situations.

For his part, the Director of the Central Prison, Colonel Ahmed al-Jahran, explained that the prison prioritizes the inmates' well-being in its training and rehabilitation programs. He pointed out that the inmates received human development courses and filled their free time with things that would benefit the inmate in scientific, religious, and vocational lessons, indicating that preparation is the only way to build, develop and advance and is the path of the nation in confronting enemies.
