Bayda Governor Abdullah Idris Discusses Humanitarian Efforts with ICRC Official

Bayda: Bayda governor Abdullah Idris met on Wednesday with an International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) official to discuss ongoing humanitarian efforts and priority needs in the governorate.

According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting with Fares al-Bashari, Assistant Head of the ICRC Sub-Delegation in Yemen, focused on current projects and future plans across key sectors, including water, sanitation, health, environmental health, and agriculture.

Participants reviewed ongoing interventions implemented in coordination with the Red Crescent Society, the Ministry of Social Affairs, and local authorities, while assessing urgent needs and identifying priorities for upcoming projects.

Governor Idris commended the ICRC's efforts in addressing critical humanitarian challenges and affirmed the local authority's commitment to facilitating the work of international organizations to expand their support and interventions in the governorate.
