Hajjah: The Economy, Industry, and Investment Office in Baydha Governorate: launched a price monitoring campaign for clothing in several districts of the governorate today. During the field visit, with the participation of local authority leaders from the districts of Baydha, Rada'a, Al-Malajim, and Al-Sawadiyah, the office director, Ahmed Al-Taheri, explained that the campaign aims to monitor clothing prices and deploy monitoring committees to shopping centers and malls to prevent any unjustified price increases.
According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Taheri pointed out that the campaign aims to contribute to cooperation with citizens under the current circumstances imposed by the aggression and blockade, in addition to verifying the validity of a number of complaints circulating on social media. He indicated that the deployed committees oversee buying and selling operations by receiving copies of invoices that clarify the purchase price of clothing.
Al-Taheri called on citizens to cooperate with the market monitoring committees, emphasizing that the campaign will continue until the first of Shawwal.
