Azal district: The families of Martyr Majd al-Din Al-Ghalisi and Martyr Abu Haidar Al-Himyari in Azal District, Capital Secretariat, have taken a philanthropic step by distributing Eid clothing to children from poor, orphaned, and needy backgrounds. This initiative was conducted in collaboration with the General Authority for Endowments and Guidance and the General Mobilization in the Secretariat.
According to Yemen News Agency, the distribution event was attended by several key figures, including the First Undersecretary of the Capital Secretariat, Khaled Al-Madani, the Head of the Social Affairs Committee at the Local Council of the Secretariat, Hammoud Al-Naqeeb, the Undersecretary of the Secretariat, Mazen Nu'man, a member of the Yemeni Scholars League, Saleh Al-Khawlani, the District Director and father of the martyr, Mohammed Al-Ghalisi, and the Mobilization Official in the district, Abdullah Al-Buhairi. They reviewed the process of handing out Eid clothing to approximately 900 beneficiaries, marking the ninth consecutive year of this charitable act.
Deputy Al-Madani commended the ongoing contributions by the families of Al-Ghalisi and Al-Himyari, emphasizing the unyielding generosity of these martyr families who continually provide financial support. Al-Naqeeb highlighted the dedication of the martyr families, acknowledging their sacrifices and continuous charitable endeavors, and lauded the initiative spearheaded by the families.
Al-Khawlani, Al-Ghalisi, and Al-Buhairi articulated that the distribution of Eid clothing aligns with the directives of the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi. This act seeks to reinforce social solidarity, compassion, and charity towards the economically disadvantaged during challenging times.
In addition to the clothing distribution, Al-Madani, Al-Naqeeb, and Nu'man evaluated the operations of the Al-Mahariq and Masyak charitable kitchens in Azal District. They received insights from kitchen officials regarding the daily distribution of iftar meals to approximately 1,600 impoverished families, supported by community efforts and the Masyak Youth Council. The officials praised these initiatives, which reflect community solidarity and adherence to the Revolution Leader's directives to focus on acts of charity and support for the needy.
