Raymah: A cultural evening was held on Thursday in Al-Ja'fariyah District of Raymah Governorate to mark the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) and International Quds Day.
According to Yemen News Agency, member of the Political Office of Ansar Allah, Dhaifullah Al-Shami, stressed the importance of benefiting from the Ramadan program to increase acts of worship, draw closer to Allah Almighty, strengthen faith identity, and reinforce resilience and steadfastness in confronting current challenges. He emphasized the need to strengthen unity and readiness for the next round of confrontation with the enemy, maintaining firmness in the face of adversaries, particularly amid the challenges facing the nation at this stage.
Al-Shami also addressed conspiracies targeting the faith identity of the Yemeni people, pointing to the importance of summer schools and their role in developing the capabilities and skills of younger generations. He praised the role of Raymah's tribes and their engagement in marches and activities supporting Gaza and the oppressed across the nation, calling for honorable participation tomorrow to commemorate International Quds Day, stemming from the Yemeni people's faith identity.
For his part, the governorate's mobilization official, Mohammed Al-Nahari, stressed the importance of drawing lessons from the life of Imam Ali (peace be upon him), his sacrifices and courage in upholding the word of Allah, supporting truth, and confronting forces of tyranny. He also called for making the most of the holy month's nights through acts of worship and urged people to pay zakat and assist those in need to strengthen social solidarity.
Meanwhile, the district director, Mohammed Al-Haidari, affirmed the readiness of the people of Al-Ja'fariyah to defend the homeland, its security, sovereignty, and to continue along the path of general mobilization. He described Ramadan as an opportunity to strengthen resilience and steadfastness in the face of tyranny and arrogance, urging residents of the district to actively participate in the mass mobilization to commemorate International Quds Day.
Speeches delivered during the evening also addressed what they described as the US-Zionist aggression against Iran and Lebanon, stressing the importance of the Islamic nation standing united to confront the enemies of Allah, religion, and Islamic holy sites.
