Al-Madani & Al-Naqib Launch Distribution of 4,200 Food Baskets to Needy Families in Capital Secretariat

Capital secretariat: First Undersecretary of the Capital Secretariat, Khaled Al-Madani, along with Chairman of the Social Affairs Committee, Hammoud Al-Naqib, and Undersecretary Mazen Noaman, initiated the distribution of food baskets to affected and displaced families in the Capital Secretariat.

According to Yemen News Agency, the distribution effort, which targets 4,200 families across different districts of the secretariat and is facilitated by Qatar Charity, was emphasized by Al-Madani as being crucial in alleviating the suffering of needy families and promoting values of solidarity and benevolence, particularly during the holy month.

Al-Madani explained that the distribution of this assistance is part of broader humanitarian activities and initiatives aimed at supporting the poor and the needy during the blessed month. He also encouraged associations, businessmen, philanthropists, and community initiatives to engage in charitable and humanitarian work throughout the year, with a focus on the holy month of Ramadan.

Al-Naqib highlighted the importance of expanding charitable and development work to strengthen the values of compassion and social solidarity within society, especially considering the challenging conditions the country is facing due to the aggression. He called upon everyone to support needy families and address the needs of the poor and underprivileged, particularly during Ramadan, commending the association's role in charitable work and in distributing food baskets to those in need.
