Sana'a: The Tender Committee of the Local Water and Sanitation Corporation in the Capital Secretariat opened the bids for the project to install metal structures for the solar energy system of the main water pumping station. This initiative is funded through self-financing.
According to Yemen News Agency, during the meeting chaired by the Corporation's Director, Engineer Mohammed Madaes, and attended by Deputy Director for Financial Affairs, Engineer Ali Zabara, and Deputy Director for Technical Affairs, Engineer Sami Fayea, the committee decided to refer the bids to the technical analysis committee. This committee will review and evaluate the bids based on the terms and standards outlined in the tender documents.
Engineer Madaes highlighted the significance of the project, noting its role in enhancing the efficiency of the main water pumping station in the Capital Secretariat. This improvement is expected to contribute to better water services and meet the needs of the citizens.
He further explained that the project involves the installation of several bases and structures for the solar power system at the main water pumping station. This endeavor is part of the Corporation's broader projects and plans aimed at improving performance, upgrading services, and overcoming existing challenges.
