Al hodeidah: Massive and million-strong rallies were held across various districts of Al Hodeidah Governorate, expressing popular outrage over repeated US-Zionist insults against the Holy Qur'an and affirming support for the Book of Allah and Islamic sanctities under the slogan: 'In Support of the Qur'an and Al-Aqsa. Steadfast with Palestine and Lebanon. Ready for All Options.'
According to Yemen News Agency, participants in the central rally were led by Governor Abdullah Atefi, First Deputy Governor Ahmed Al-Bishri, along with local, executive, security, and military officials, amid broad public attendance that reflected high vigilance and readiness to defend Islamic sanctities. Demonstrators raised banners and slogans affirming adherence to the Holy Qur'an and hostility toward the enemies of the nation, describing the burning of a copy of the Holy Qur'an by a U.S. Senate candidate in the state of Michigan as a blatant act of incitement targeting the identity of the nation and provoking Muslims worldwide.
Residents of Al Hodeidah stressed that the repeated violations demonstrate the existence of a systematic hostile agenda adopted by American and Zionist circles to spread hatred, ignite strife, noting that the moral and intellectual decline of arrogant powers has driven them to exploit sacred symbols for political gain and attempts to weaken the resilience of nations. The angry crowds called for expanding public action through continued mobilization activities and activating a comprehensive economic boycott of American and Zionist goods as a practical deterrent measure, while enhancing public awareness to confront soft-war tactics and cultural targeting.
The people of the 'Guardian of the Red Sea' renewed their principled and historic support for the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples and the valiant resistance, considering adherence to the Holy Qur'an and commitment to its teachings as the path to salvation and the compass for the nation's liberation, dignity, and sovereignty. A statement issued by the mass rallies declared general mobilization in support of the Holy Qur'an, Al-Aqsa Mosque, and in solidarity with the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples, affirming high readiness to confront what it described as the arrogance of global hegemonic powers.
The statement strongly condemned the repeated insults by what it termed US-Zionist enemies against the Holy Qur'an and the near-daily Zionist desecration of Al-Aqsa Mosque, affirming that the Yemeni people would not remain silent in the face of these renewed offenses and Zionist campaigns in all their forms. It called on Arab and Islamic nations and Muslims around the world to fulfill their religious and moral duty through serious and sincere action in the cause of Allah, intensifying economic boycott campaigns against enemies, and organizing angry million-man marches in cities and capitals worldwide to confront what it described as a hostile Zionist scheme targeting Islam, Muslims, their values, sanctities, and symbols, foremost among them the Holy Qur'an and Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family), as well as violations against Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The statement warned the nation against negligence and complacency in confronting what it described as aggressive, hostile Jewish and allied schemes, considering such complacency a major factor encouraging enemies against the nation and exposing it to divine punishment. It also reaffirmed the steadfast Yemeni position, based on religious and moral principles, in supporting the people of Gaza, working toward the liberation of Al-Aqsa Mosque, all Palestinian land, and standing alongside prisoners held in Israeli prisons until they achieve full freedom.
The statement further announced full solidarity with the fighters of Hezbollah in the Lebanese Republic, praising their strong and painful strikes against what it referred to as the temporary Zionist entity. The rallies' statement emphasized the full readiness of the Yemeni people regarding any new developments or escalation by the United States, Israel targeting the region, the Islamic nation, and their efforts to launch a new round of aggression following what it described as their failure in the previous aggression against Iran under the slogan of 'Changing the Middle East and Establishing Greater Israel.'
It added that the Yemeni people, 'the Yemen of faith, wisdom, and jihad,' would remain steadfast in the arenas of struggle, carrying the banner of Islam, taking the lead in supporting the Qur'an, the Prophet, Islam, following the example of their ancestors, and would never retreat in confronting what it described as the American-Israeli campaign against Islam and Muslims, while rallying behind Revolution Leader Abdul-Malik al-Houthi. The statement concluded by urging the Islamic nation and the Yemeni people to adhere to the Holy Qur'an and follow its guidance, preserve the faith-based identity, remain vigilant against soft-war methods and corrupting enemy tactics targeting younger generations in particular.
It also called for broad participation in the Eid support convoy in backing those stationed on the fronts of 'dignity, honor, and sacred jihad.'
