Aden: Member of the Supreme Political Council, Dr. Abdulaziz Saleh bin Habtoor, extended his condolences and sympathy over the passing of Abdullah Awad bin Nahia Baras Al-Awlaqi, a lecturer at the Faculty of Administrative Sciences at the University of Aden and the Director General of Admissions and Registration at the College.
According to Yemen News Agency, Dr. Bin Habtoor praised the virtues of the deceased in a telegram sent to his brothers, Mohammed and Ahmed, and the entire Baras family, both in Yemen and abroad. He highlighted Abdullah Awad’s dedication and significant contributions to the academic and administrative fields at the University of Aden.
The member of the Supreme Political Council commended Abdullah Awad’s dedication and sincerity in fulfilling his duties, noting his good rapport with colleagues and those who interacted with him. He was recognized for his expansive cultural knowledge and active participation.
Dr. Bin Habtoor conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the Baras family and the academic community at the universities of Aden, Shabwa, and Yemen at large. He prayed for divine mercy and forgiveness for Abdullah Awad, wishing him a place in paradise and offering prayers for patience and solace for his family, colleagues, students, and loved ones.
