Bonyan Foundation Wraps Up “Development Knights” Trainer Course in Sana’a

General

Sana'a: The Bonyan Development Foundation concluded today in Sana'a the training course for "Fursan al-Tanmiya" (Development Knights) trainers, as part of the Volunteer Support Program.

According to Yemen News Agency, the course, implemented by the Bonyan Academy for Training and Qualification from 15 to 25 Safar 1448 AH, aimed to equip 19 trainees from the governorate with skills in implementing cooperative and field work, and to identify key directions for enhancing the role of "Development Knights" in various districts and sub-districts.

The course was organized under the supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Water Resources and the local authority of Al-Hudaydah governorate, in cooperation with the Agricultural Cooperative Union and its branch in the governorate, and funded by the Agricultural Projects and Initiatives Financing Unit.

At the conclusion, the head of the Agricultural Cooperative Union, Mubarak Al-Qaili, stressed the need for field cadres and executive leaders to move from individual work frameworks to taking full responsibility at the district level. He pointed out the importance of preparing practical action plans based on accurate data collection through field visits and participatory workshops, and avoiding formal and general reports, emphasizing the importance of conducting a comprehensive assessment to determine the number of active and influential "Development Knights" in the sub-districts and districts, and working to motivate and qualify cadres that need support to ensure their effectiveness.

Al-Qaili noted the need to follow up on the level of interaction of productive groups and cooperative associations with the knights, as they are the practical extension of these associations to ensure the impact of cooperative work reaches every household and sub-district. He considered cooperative and development work in the field an important "economic jihad" front, directing the launch of field work with a jihadist and faith-based spirit, connected to piety and sincerity to Allah, to ensure the blessing and acceptance of the work and the achievement of the desired impact.

For his part, the Head of the Field Coordination Sector at the Bonyan Development Foundation, Engineer Ali Maher, affirmed that the preparation of these cadres aims to advance the economic and agricultural reality, and to transform community members into knights who move with awareness and responsibility to confront current challenges. He explained that the graduation of this cohort coincides with the celebration of the Prophet's birthday anniversary, to follow the Muhammadan path in jihad, construction, and responding to the requirements of the current stage in both the economic and development aspects, noting the importance of mobilizing the community's energies, qualifying its members, and launching directly into the field to develop cooperative associations and build a self-sufficient generation that preserves its identity and authenticity.

Maher pointed out that the conflicts facing the enemies of the nation - foremost among them the American-Zionist enemy alliance and its tools - require assuming faith-based responsibility and dealing with the development aspect as a fundamental front no less important than other fronts. He urged the graduates to translate the knowledge and skills they acquired into practical steps within the community, to overcome field difficulties with high spirit, and to utilize natural resources and available capabilities to restore Yemen's civilizational and developmental role.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, attended by a number of development and executive work leaders in the governorate and the Agricultural Cooperative Union, graduation certificates were distributed to the participants in the course.
