Sa'ada: The Border Guard Forces in Sa'ada Governorate organized a cultural event on Wednesday in celebration of the anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad's (peace be upon him and his family) birth.
According to Yemen News Agency, Governor of Sa'ada, Mohammed Awad, highlighted the significance of commemorating the Prophet's birthday as a means to strengthen loyalty and belonging to the Messenger of Allah. He noted that the Yemeni people welcome this anniversary every year with unmatched joy and celebration, at a time when leaders of some regimes rush to normalize relations with the enemies.
Governor Awad affirmed that the people of the governorate, through their broad participation in the central gathering on the 12th of Rabi' al-Awwal at Al-Rasul Al-A'zam Square, aim to send a message to the world that they venerate and support their Prophet despite conspiracies and siege. He stressed that reviving the Prophet's birthday reinforces the Islamic nation's faith-based identity and carries profound meanings amid major challenges targeting its identity and its bond with the Seal of the Prophets.
In the presence of Shura Council members Abbas Muqait and Hadi Al-Hamzi, along with several deputy governors, a speech delivered on behalf of the Border Guard Forces by Mohammed Ardom shed light on aspects of the Prophet's life, his struggle, bravery, mercy, compassion, and devotion to guiding the Ummah. The speech emphasized that the Yemeni people respond to the call of the Messenger of Allah, while the people of falsehood seek to silence the nation from speaking about him, knowing well what he represents for the Islamic Ummah and for all humanity.
Meanwhile, a welcoming address by Mabrouk Al-Hajj stressed that commemorating the Prophet's birth renews the joy and celebration of the forefathers at his coming, and stands as a declaration to all mankind that this nation clings to its Prophet-loving, honoring, revering, and following him as their guide and example.
