Sana'a: The Hodeidah branch of the Yemeni Council for Medical Specializations conducted the admission exam for the Yemeni Fellowship and professional specialization certificate (Master's degree) in 12 specialized courses today at the Al-Thawra General Hospital Authority. Number of Candidates: 68 doctors (male and female) from various districts of Hodeidah Governorate and other provinces participated.
According to Yemen News Agency, the exam included disciplines such as Internal Medicine, General Surgery, Urology, Neurology, Vascular Surgery, Orthopedics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Diagnostic Radiology, Pediatrics, as well as professional Master's programs in Public Health, Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Pediatrics. This initiative, supported by the Ministry of Health and Environment, aims to open new courses and rare specializations, enhancing medical services and national workforce efficiency.
The event marks a significant achievement post the 21 September Revolution, with the council activated in Hodeidah since 2019, starting with Obstetrics and Gynecology and Pediatrics, now expanding to comprehensive exams across diverse fields.
