Candidates for Sharia Notaries Undergo Testing in Hajjah

Hajjah: The Court of Appeal in Hajjah province conducted written tests on Sunday for candidates applying to work as Sharia notaries in the districts of Ash-Shaghadirah, Aydinah, Al-Mahabishah, Al-Miftah, Kuhlan Affar, and Sharas. Appellate Court Judge Hussein Al-Houthi announced that 105 candidates participated in the exams, which focus on personal status laws, documentation, real estate registration, and relevant Sharia rulings concerning inheritance and property division.

According to Yemen News Agency, Judge Al-Houthi stressed the significance of these examinations in evaluating the candidates' comprehension of legal and Sharia provisions and their qualifications for the role of a Sharia notary. Judge Issam Al-Hajjan, head of the Notary Admission Committee, and Court Director Abdulkarim Al-Ansi, a committee member, underscored the pivotal role of Sharia notaries in protecting individuals' rights and minimizing disputes. The admission committee also included Documentation Director Fadhl Fadhail and Notary Department Head Aref Al-Zarqa.
