Sanaa: Ibn Al-Haytham Medical Complex in the Shu'ub district of the Capital Secretariat organized on Saturday a celebratory event marking the birth anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him and his family.
According to Yemen News Agency, Dr. Mutaher Al-Maroni, Director of the Health Office in the Secretariat, emphasized the importance of commemorating the Prophet's birthday, which is held annually to recall the virtues and life of the Prophet, the guide to the nation, who brought the message of Islam to eradicate ignorance and disbelief.
He highlighted the role of medical complexes in actively supporting such celebrations by promoting values of solidarity and benevolence, and by offering discounts on clinics and health services in honor of the Prophet's birthday. This initiative aims to alleviate the suffering of citizens, particularly the families of martyrs and the wounded.
Dr. Al-Maroni also praised the improvement in healthcare services at the medical complex and the organization of the celebratory event, which reflects the Prophet's esteemed position in the hearts of Yemenis and their close connection to him.
The event was attended by Shu'ub Local Secretary, Muhammad Al-Hadrami. Abdullah Al-Koul, Director of Mobilization in the district, highlighted the significance of the occasion by providing free healthcare services and supporting patients. He also spoke on the Yemeni people's deep love and loyalty to the Prophet, their adherence to his path since the dawn of Islam, and the importance of drawing lessons from his birth.
Meanwhile, Dr. Ahmed Al-Madani, Director of Health in the district, and Dr. Ammar Al-Jadri of the Ibn Al-Haytham Medical Complex, outlined activities and initiatives implemented by the health sector in conjunction with the Prophet's birthday, including free services and discounts on healthcare fees.
They affirmed that the participation of healthcare personnel in the celebrations reflects a tribute to the noble Muhammadan values, principles, and ethics, embodying loyalty, love, and sincere devotion to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him and his family.
