Sanaa:Capital Secretary Dr. Hamoud Abbad inspected the ongoing rehabilitation and renovation work on Street 20 in the Al-Sabeen District, a project funded locally at a cost of 187 million rials.
According to Yemen News Agency, Dr. Abbad examined the construction of a concrete bridge that will connect Al-Qadisiyah Street with Al-Sittin and Socotra streets. The project is currently 40 percent complete.
The initiative, carried out by the Executive Unit for Road and Public Facilities Construction and Maintenance, features a 7,100-square-meter concrete bridge, along with 900 square meters of stone, asphalt pavement repairs, and maintenance of curbs and sidewalks.
Dr. Abbad emphasized the project's significance in enhancing and maintaining damaged roads, as well as facilitating smoother traffic flow in the area.
