Celebrations Continue in Hodeida to Mark Prophet’s Birthday

Hodeida: Celebratory events and evening gatherings continue across districts of Hodeida Governorate to mark the anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad's birthday. The local authority, general mobilization committees, the Al-Hawak District Security Department, and community police organized an evening event attended by senior local officials, security leaders, scholars, and social figures.

According to Yemen News Agency, residents of Al-Hashabrah in Al-Zaydiyah District also held a celebration, while residents of Al-Jahathimah in Al-Zuhrah District organized a commemorative gathering highlighting the significance of the occasion and the Prophet's status among Yemenis. Similar cultural and commemorative events were held in Mur in Al-Luhayyah District and Al-Jahba Al-Ulya and Al-Lawiyah in Al-Durayhimi District.

The National Women's Committee, the Women's Development Department, the Women's Sector at the Health Office, and the Martyrs' Families Welfare Authority also conducted a workshop attended by 30 women cadres from the governorate. Speakers at the events emphasized the Prophet's revered status among Yemenis and their strong connection to him, stressing their commitment to commemorating his birthday and other religious occasions associated with their faith-based identity.

They noted that the occasion renews faith and loyalty to Prophet Muhammad and highlights the civilizational and humanitarian principles on which the Islamic state was founded, including justice, equality, and peaceful coexistence. The speakers also underscored the significance of the occasion and the exceptional character of Prophet Muhammad as a symbol of the faith-based identity rooted in guidance and enlightenment.
