Sana'a: The second charitable medical camp for women and maternity, organized by the Faculty of Medicine at the University of 21 September for Medical and Applied Sciences in Sana'a, concluded today after three days, on the occasion of the anniversary of the noble Prophet's birth (Mawlid al-Nabawi).
According to Yemen News Agency, the camp witnessed a large turnout to benefit from its services, including medical examinations, consultations, laboratory tests, diagnostic imaging, and the free dispensing of available medications, aimed at enhancing women's health services and alleviating burdens on benefiting patients.
During the closing ceremony, the University President, Dr. Mujahid Maasar, praised the efforts of the medical, technical, and administrative staff who contributed to the camp's success, affirming that organizing free medical camps is a practical embodiment of the university's mission in serving the community and providing healthcare to those in need.
He noted that the camp aimed to provide medical care to over five thousand cases, with the participation of a distinguished group of consultants and specialists in obstetrics and gynecology, along with supporting medical, technical, and administrative staff.
Maasar expressed appreciation for the support the camp received from the government and the local authority in Sana'a Governorate, as well as the companies that contributed to providing the camp's requirements.
