Muscat: The Prophetic Birthday Football Tournament kicked off on Saturday in Aflah Al-Sham District of Hajjah Governorate.
According to Yemen News Agency, the tournament is organized by the district branch of the Youth and Sports Office under the supervision of the governorate's Youth and Sports Office. It features six teams divided into two groups, bringing local excitement to the community.
Group One includes Al-Rasoul Al-Aazam, Al-Suqoor, and Al-Shahid Al-Ghumari teams, while Group Two comprises Al-Sumoud, Al-Shahid Al-Samad, and Al-Wahda teams. The tournament's competitive spirit was evident from the opening match, where Al-Rasoul Al-Aazam narrowly defeated Al-Suqoor with a thrilling 8-7 scoreline.
