The plan also includes other goals such as steady growth in auto exports and a 6 percent increase in the added value of the auto industry in 2025.

By 2026, the industry is expected to maintain strong growth, with enhanced efficiency, quality, and scale. On the demand side, the plan outlines measures to accelerate the expansion of the new energy vehicle market and promote smart connected vehicle technologies.

The plan also calls for the deployment of more than 700,000 additional units of new energy vehicles in sectors including public transportation, taxis, and logistics in 25 pilot cities.
