Sanaa: Deputy Minister of Civil Service and Administrative Development for Evaluation and Training Sector, Ezi Al-Hattami, reviewed the level of employee attendance discipline at the Ministry of Telecommunications, Information Technology, and its affiliated entities.
According to Yemen News Agency, during the visit attended by the Ministry of Telecommunications' Undersecretary for Technical Affairs, Eng. Taha Zubarah, Al-Hattami received a briefing from the Ministry's Undersecretary for Financial and Administrative Affairs, Ahmed Al-Mutawakel. The briefing focused on the attendance levels of the ministry's employees and affiliated entities, highlighting their commitment to official working hours on the first working day following the Eid al-Adha holiday.
Al-Mutawakel emphasized that the ministry is striving to develop and improve its services to meet citizens' needs and facilitate their transactions. This effort is part of the ministry's plan to keep pace with modern technologies in the telecommunications and postal sectors. He noted the importance of direct interaction between telecommunications and postal sector personnel and citizens, which requires continuous modernization and uninterrupted service delivery, necessitating enhanced employee readiness.
Al-Hattami, alongside telecommunications officials, also reviewed employee attendance discipline at the General Post Authority and the Public Telecommunications Corporation. He received briefings from the Executive Director of the Public Telecommunications Corporation, Eng. Sadiq Musleh, and the Director General of the General Post Authority, Ammar Wahan, about staff attendance and adherence to official working hours post-Eid holiday.
Musleh and Wahan reported that both the corporation and the postal authority continued providing services to citizens across all governorates of the Republic during the Eid al-Adha holiday. They commended the employees' efforts in advancing the telecommunications and postal sectors and ensuring service delivery to citizens.
The visit included the participation of heads of the corporation's sectors: Financial Sector Head Mohammed Al-Suraihi, Administrative Sector Head Dr. Issam Al-Hamli, Technical Sector Head Eng. Mohammed Al-Hamzi, Commercial Sector Head Ali Al-Wadaei, Civil Service Minister's Advisor Waheed Abdulkarim, and Director General of Complaints and Disputes at the Ministry of Civil Service Abdulwali Al-Absi.
