Standards Authority Director Conducts Post-Eid Inspection Across Capital and Sana’a Centers

Sana'a: The Director-General of the Yemen Standardization, Metrology and Quality Control Organization, Abdullah Al-Atafi, reviewed the level of work discipline at the Authority on the first official working day following the Eid holiday.

According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Atafi commended the commitment of the Authority's leadership and staff to performing their duties, reflecting a strong sense of responsibility and institutional discipline. He emphasized the importance of redoubling efforts in the coming period, improving performance levels, and further developing the services provided by the Authority, in a way that enhances its regulatory and technical role in protecting consumers, ensuring the quality and safety of goods and products circulating in markets.

The Executive Director also inspected the workflow at the Authority's branch in the Capital Secretariat and the Sana'a Monitoring Center. During his visits, he reviewed the level of performance and discipline, and listened to explanations from specialists regarding the nature of ongoing tasks and duties, as well as mechanisms for enhancing regulatory and service performance.

He stressed the need to work in a spirit of teamwork and adhere to laws and regulations, in order to achieve the Authority's objectives of improving its services, strengthening oversight of goods and products, protecting consumers, and supporting the national economy. He was accompanied during the visits by the Deputy Executive Directors of the Authority, Dr. Kamal Margham and Engineer Abu Al-Hassan Al-Nahari, along with a number of department directors.
