Sana'a: The Yemeni News Agency, Saba, has launched its new mobile application for smartphones, marking a step forward in its modernization efforts to align with the digital media landscape. This launch coincides with the celebration of the Prophet Muhammad's birthday.
According to Yemen News Agency, the application is designed for both Android and iOS platforms, offering users access to comprehensive news coverage, including political, economic, cultural, sports, and social news at local, regional, and international levels. The app aims to deliver reliable news content continuously throughout the day.
Nasr al-Din Amer, Chairman of the Agency's Board of Directors, highlighted that the new application is a valuable addition to Saba's services. It seeks to provide a news service characterized by speed, accuracy, and reliability, utilizing the latest technologies. The application boasts features such as breaking news alerts, user-friendly navigation through its interface, multimedia support, and live broadcasts from some national channels.
Amer emphasized that this development is part of the agency's strategic plans to enhance its news services and expand its reach to a broader audience. He also noted that the application delivers news free from the limitations and restrictions of platforms managed by adversaries, ensuring unimpeded access to information for its users.
