Sana'a city: Members of African communities in the capital, Sana'a (Ethiopia, Somalia, Sudan, Eritrea, Djibouti, and Ogaden) organized a cultural evening to celebrate the Prophet's birthday, may the best prayers and peace be upon him and his family.
According to Yemen News Agency, the event was attended by the head of the Social Affairs Committee of the Capital Secretariat, Hammoud Al-Naqeeb, and the Undersecretaries of the Secretariat for Financial and Administrative Affairs, Mazen Noman, and for Agriculture, Mohammed Saree. The head of the African Communities, Mohammed Saeed, emphasized the importance of this occasion for the Muslim Ummah, considering it a milestone for embodying the values of brotherhood and strengthening the connection with Allah and His Great Messenger, peace and blessings be upon him and his family.
The officials affirmed that the commemoration of the Prophet's birthday is a spiritual occasion to reflect upon the life of the noble Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, and to emulate his morals, values, and principles in all aspects of life.
The speeches called for a massive turnout of millions at the central event commemorating the Prophet's birthday in Al-Sabeen Square in Sana'a and in various other governorates.
The evening, which was attended by community leaders, a number of executive officials, and prominent social figures, included recitations and poems that expressed the grandeur of the occasion.
