Sanaa: The Civil Status and Civil Registry Authority launched its new service guide on Tuesday, marking a significant step towards enhancing the accessibility and efficiency of its services.
According to Yemen News Agency, the launch event saw Major General Mohammed al-Hakim, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Civil Services, commend the Authority's efforts. He highlighted the Ministry's dedication to developing these services further and urged the Authority's leadership and personnel to continually improve performance, update work processes, and streamline procedures for accessing services across all branches.
The event was graced by Brigadier General Hussein Abdulqader Aziz, the Authority's Head, along with Brigadier General Mohammed al-Hamzi, the Authority's Undersecretary. Al-Hamzi noted that the launch of the guide aligns with the Ministry of Interior's broader plan to enhance service delivery and simplify procedural requirements. He expressed his gratitude to all who contributed to the project's success, reaffirming the Authority's ongoing commitment to ensuring that its services are easily and accurately accessible to all citizens.
Major General Abdulkarim al-Mekhlafi, Director General of the Police Research Center, also praised the guide's introduction. He emphasized that this development is a crucial step towards achieving e-government and transitioning from manual to electronic services, particularly for agencies directly serving the public.
Colonel Abdulrazzaq al-Misbahi provided an overview of the guide, which is designed to simplify and facilitate service delivery procedures, covering everything from issuing national identity cards to other critical documents. He also pointed out that an electronic version of the guide is available on the department's website, which includes a complaints service and additional resources.
