Sana'a: The Environment and Tourism Committee of the Shura Council held a meeting on Tuesday, chaired by the Council's Speaker, Mohammed Hussein al-Aidaroos, dedicated to discussing and reviewing the committee's work plan for the year 1448 AH.
According to Yemen News Agency, during the meeting, the Speaker of the Shura Council praised the efforts of the Environment and Tourism Committee, highlighting its regular meetings and commitment to enhancing its oversight and advisory role. He emphasized the necessity of intensifying efforts in the near future, focusing on preparing joint reports and maintaining effective coordination with other relevant committees within the Council. This coordination aims to ensure the development of realistic visions and recommendations that align with current realities and serve the public interest.
The Vice Chairman of the Council, Dhaifallah Rassam, also expressed appreciation for the Chairman and members of the Environment and Tourism Committee. He noted their dedication to their tasks and emphasized that discipline is crucial in strengthening the Council's role and activating the institutional work system.
Meanwhile, the Committee Chairman, Khalid Mahmoud, presented the committee's notable achievements regarding work, reports, and field visits over the past year. He reaffirmed the committee's commitment to implementing its approved plan for the year 1448 AH, adhering to the specified paths and timelines to support and develop the environment and tourism sectors.
