Sana'a: The National Meteorological Center forecasts generally clear and cold weather during the night and early morning hours in the mountainous highlands over the next 24 hours.
According to Yemen News Agency, the center explained that the weather will be generally clear and cold during the night and early morning in the governorates of Sa'dah, Amran, Sana'a, Dhamar, Al-Bayda, and northern Ibb, and relatively cold in the highlands of Hajjah, Al-Mahwit, Raymah, Taiz, Al-Dhali', Lahj, and Abyan.
The center also indicated the possibility of scattered cumulus clouds forming over the western, southwestern, and central highlands in the afternoon. In the coastal areas, the center reported that the weather will be generally clear to partly cloudy, with moderate winds that may occasionally become active in the southern part of the western coast and the Bab al-Mandab Strait, reaching a maximum speed of 25 knots.
According to the center, the weather in desert areas will be clear and relatively cool, with light to moderate winds that may occasionally become active, stirring up dust and sand. The meteorological center warned citizens, especially the elderly, children, and those with health conditions in mountainous areas, about the cold weather, and urged farmers to take necessary precautions to protect their crops.
It also warned fishermen, ship captains, and those venturing out to sea south of the western coast and the Bab al-Mandab Strait of rough seas and high waves.
