Sana'a: The activities of this year's summer courses concluded today in the Bani Qais square in Bani Matar district of Sana'a governorate, under the slogan "With knowledge and jihad, we move forward in the battle of support."
According to Yemen News Agency, the Deputy Minister of Education and Scientific Research, Hadi Ammar, praised the efforts of the summer course staff, the interaction and distinction of the students, and the keenness of parents to enroll their children in these courses. He affirmed their importance in building capacities, refining talents, developing skills, and fortifying the youth against soft war and misguided cultures. He also congratulated the students on completing the summer courses, during which they gained knowledge and learning, and were equipped with the guidance of the Holy Quran, awareness, and insight.
For his part, the district director, Yahya Al Qanoos, praised the efforts of those in charge of the summer activities, calling on parents to continue sending their children to enroll in them every year. The ceremony, attended by the mobilization official of Bani Qais sub-district, Abdulghani Alyan, included poetic and chanting segments, and honoring of teachers and outstanding students with certificates and symbolic gifts.
In Bilad Al Roos district, a closing ceremony for summer course activities was organized, honoring teachers and students. The general mobilization official of the governorate, Fayez Al Hanami, pointed to the knowledge and learning provided by the courses. Meanwhile, the district director, Saleh Naji, affirmed their role in rehabilitating and developing students' skills and refining their talents. The head of the executive committee for summer activities and courses, Mutahar Al Zawar, noted the efforts of teachers and those in charge of summer centers in graduating a generation armed with knowledge and the Holy Quran.
The ceremony, attended by the Secretary General of the local council in the district, Sarqah Ali, and a number of executive and social leaders, included poetic and chanting segments, with teachers and students honored with certificates of appreciation and symbolic gifts.
In Bani Hushish district, the activities of summer courses concluded in a number of sub-districts. Closing events were organized in Al Abna' sub-district, Dhi Marmar sub-district, and Ghadran sub-district. During the events, a member of the Shura Council, Mohammed Mufaddal, praised the success of this year's summer courses, pointing out that their outputs included various programs aimed at developing the abilities and skills of male and female students. The district director, Rajih Al Hanami, also praised the efforts of the supervisory and executive committees that resulted in great success, affirming that the students' discipline and enthusiasm embodied the extent of their benefit from the programs offered.
The events, attended by the Secretary General of the local council in the district, Ibrahim Al Gilani, and a number of mobilization officials and social figures, included student participation, expressive poems, and honoring of the participating students.
