Sa'ada: Sa'ada Governor Mohammed Awad and Chairman of the Martyrs Foundation Ahmed Jaran honored the students who won the Quran Competition, organized by the Shaheed Quran School for the Children of Martyrs in cooperation with the Martyrs Foundation.
According to Yemen News Agency, at the closing ceremony, which was attended by Abdullah Al-Kastban, Director of the Martyrs' Families Care Authority branch in the governorate, Governor Awad congratulated the winners among the children of martyrs for their achievements. He praised their competition, memorization of Quranic chapters, and mastery of recitation and Tajweed.
Governor Awad highlighted that the competition reflects a strong connection to the Book of Allah and the Greatest Messenger, Muhammad. He emphasized that the Book of Allah is a source of spiritual faith and a foundation of knowledge for the Ummah, urging students to engage in Quran memorization competitions, which are integral to the Quranic project.
He also commended the efforts of the Martyrs' Families Care Authority and the Martyrs Foundation for their commitment to the children of those who sacrificed their lives to protect their land, honor, and nation.
Competition jury member Fawzi Al-Tayyib explained that the contest was divided into three stages, with 12 students advancing to the second stage and six to the final stage. The competition concluded with Yaqub Saqar taking first place, Ahmed Al-Jamali second, and Issam Heisan third.
Al-Tayyib urged everyone to pay attention to the children of martyrs and to religious and cultural activities, particularly the Quran, encouraging them to embody the values of Prophet Muhammad and serve as exemplary members of society.
