Closing of Training Program at Youth Ministry on Public Responsibility

Sana'a: The Ministry of Youth and Sports in Sana'a concluded on Wednesday a training program titled 'Lessons from the Sermons and Wisdom of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) on Public Responsibility and the Management of the Affairs of the Nation.'

According to Yemen News Agency, the eight-day program was organized by the Ministry in cooperation with the National Center for Capacity Building and Decision Support at the Office of the Presidency. It targeted 50 participants from the ministry's leadership and staff, as well as affiliated institutions, aiming to reinforce concepts of public responsibility and enhance institutional decision-making mechanisms.

At the closing ceremony, the Director of Cultural and Social Activities at the Ministry, Dr. Mohammed Haj, emphasized that the program represented a qualitative step in promoting a culture of fairness and a sense of responsibility. He noted the importance of its content due to its relevance to the ministry's role in serving a broad segment of youth, describing it as a key platform for broadening perspectives, encouraging innovation, and presenting practical models that elevate responsibility levels.

Haj also praised the integrated role between the Ministry and the National Center for Capacity Building in implementing the program, developing skills, and formulating more efficient and integrity-based administrative models.

For his part, the course lecturer, Dr. Mohammed Sharaf Al-Din from the University of the Holy Quran, explained that the program aimed to establish an administrative approach inspired by Imam Ali's covenant to Malik Al-Ashtar as a model for achieving justice and serving society. He stressed that the success of such programs is measured by their tangible impact on practical performance and administrative behavior.

Program coordinator from the National Center for Capacity Building, Mohammed Al-Shabami, stated that targeting the leadership and staff of the Ministry of Youth and Sports stems from its strategic role in building future generations. He described the program as a starting point for reviewing performance, correcting shortcomings, and strengthening work conduct based on a culture of responsibility, religious and national commitment to societal issues.

Participants expressed their great benefit from the program's themes, which enabled them to connect value-based principles with practical applications. They affirmed their determination to transfer these concepts and experiences to their field work, contributing to improving youth and sports activities and achieving the desired goals.
