Al-tiyal: A speech event was held on Wednesday in Al-Tiyal District, Sana'a province, to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) on the Day of Ashura.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Director of the District, Hilal Mu'aid, emphasized the importance of reviving the memory of Ashura to educate generations about the life of the grandson of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family) and the sacrifices of the Ahl al-Bayt (House of the Prophet) in upholding the word of God. He urged drawing lessons from the life of Imam Hussein bin Ali (peace be upon them) in confronting tyrants, following his path, and embodying his sacrifices in today's struggle against modern oppressors.
The event was attended by the Mobilization Officer of the District, Silan Saleh. Meanwhile, the Guidance Officer in the District, Ali Al-Dumaini, called for learning from Islamic history, which carries profound meanings that require the nation's people to stand firm against contemporary challenges and hostile conspiracies.
