Sana'a: Leaders from the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology visited the tombs of martyrs President Saleh Al-Samad, Prime Minister Ahmed Al-Rahawi, and Chief of the General Staff, Lieutenant General Mohammed Al-Ghammari on Tuesday. The visit was a gesture of respect and tribute to the leaders who lost their lives in the face of aggression.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Minister of Communications, Engineer Mohammed Al-Mahdi, along with his deputy, Engineer Ali Al-Makni, and other key figures from the ministry, laid wreaths on the martyrs' tombs. They recited Al-Fatiha in honor of the martyred leaders and all those who have perished in defense of the nation. The minister emphasized that the sacrifices made by these leaders were in the service of God and the defense of the homeland against external forces.
The Minister of Communications reiterated the commitment to continue the legacy of these martyrs. He affirmed that the martyrs' sacrifice was a testament to their heroism in defending the nation's sovereignty and dignity. He expressed the resolve of the ministry's employees to follow in the martyrs' footsteps until victory is achieved.
Engineer Al-Makni, the Deputy Minister of Communications, also expressed the commitment of the communications and postal sectors to uphold the principles of truth and justice. He emphasized that the blood of the martyrs would serve as a catalyst for victory and glory for the nation. The deputy minister highlighted the security and stability enjoyed by the Yemeni people as a result of the martyrs' sacrifices.
The visit was attended by several leaders from the telecommunications and postal sectors, including the Executive Director of the Public Telecommunications Corporation, Engineer Sadiq Musleh, and other prominent figures. The leaders collectively pledged to maintain the path paved by the martyrs in the ongoing struggle for the nation's honor and independence.
