According to Yemen News Agency, the first half witnessed a relative advantage for the Communications players, who imposed their offensive presence and obtained several opportunities, but they failed to invest them as required to translate them into an early goal, ending the first half in a goalless draw.

In the second half, the Economy team resorted to a clear defensive style, affected by the declining physical fitness of some of its players, relying on securing their defensive areas in the hope of dragging the match to penalty kicks.

Despite repeated attempts by Communications, haste in front of goal prevented them from forming a real threat, except for one notable opportunity that the Economy goalkeeper saved.

The goalless draw continued until the final whistle, leading the two teams to resort to penalty kicks, which smiled upon the Communications team with a score of "4-2," thanks to the brilliance of their goalkeeper, Mohammed Al-Adini, who saved two decisive kicks and led his team to the final match.

Following the match, the technical committee selected Communications goalkeeper Mohammed Al-Adini as the best player of the match.
