Al-hodeidah: Al-Hodeidah Deputy Governor for Eastern Districts Amer Muthanna inspected on Sunday several community-led educational initiatives and projects in Bajil District, as part of efforts to support community initiatives and strengthen community partnership in implementing service projects.
According to Yemen News Agency, Muthanna, accompanied by Bajil District Director Abdulmunem Al-Rifai, reviewed progress on an initiative to construct six additional classrooms at Al-Taawun School in Al-Ashraf area, Al-Khalfiyah, and another to build six classrooms at Al-Noor School in Al-Hij village, Al-Dhamer, as well as Yemen Granite School in Al-Shumairi village. They were briefed on the progress of the projects and the requirements needed for their completion. They also discussed ways to enhance coordination among the local authority, education office, the cooperative association, and the local community to improve the educational environment and meet the needs of beneficiary areas.
Muthanna stressed the importance of community initiatives in supporting local authority efforts and developing educational services, praising residents for implementing priority projects and commending the local authority in Bajil and the Agricultural Cooperative Association for following up and supervising the initiatives. For his part, Head of the Bajil Agricultural Cooperative Association Adel Sam affirmed the association's continued support and follow-up of educational initiatives in coordination with relevant authorities and the local community, focusing efforts on priority needs and turning them into tangible, sustainable projects.
Also accompanying him were district education sector official Mohammed Sajid, district coordinator Hadi Al-Hij, and association initiatives official Mohammed Sharah.
