Al-rawdah: The summer activities for the year 1447 AH concluded at the summer school of Imam Ahmed bin Al-Qasim in the Grand Mosque of Al-Rawdah in the Capital Secretariat, marked by the theme "Knowledge and Jihad."
According to Yemen News Agency, the closing ceremony was attended by several notable figures, including Abdullah Al-Razhi, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports for the Youth Sector and Head of the Technical Committee for Summer Activities and Courses. Al-Razhi emphasized the significant role that summer schools play in fortifying youth, enhancing their abilities, and imparting beneficial knowledge and skills. He highlighted the importance of glorifying the Book of God, connecting children to the Holy Quran, and teaching them to read, recite with tajweed, memorize it, and be enriched by its guidance. Al-Razhi also praised the efforts of teachers and administrators, acknowledging the creativity and engagement displayed by students at the Imam Ahmed bin Al-Qasim school.
The event also saw the presence of Abdul Ghani Al-Madani, head of the Electrical Industries Foundation, Brigadier Ahmed Al-Afqi, assistant director of security of the Capital Secretariat, and a number of educational, social, security, and mobilization leaders. Mohammed Al-Hakim, advisor to the Ministry of Education and Scientific Research, underscored the significance of summer schools in building students' abilities and nurturing their talents across various scientific and cultural domains.
Hamad bin Rakan, director of Bani Al-Harith district, described these activities as a crucial step in developing a conscious generation fortified with knowledge and learning, equipped to confront challenges and counter misguided ideas and foreign cultures.
Abdul Samad Abu Talib, the school director, reiterated the commitment to offering an integrated program that included the Holy Quran and its sciences, religious studies, and cultural and awareness programs. He lauded the students' discipline and parental support, which significantly contributed to the successful conclusion of the summer season.
The ceremony featured various creative segments, with students presenting recitations of the Holy Quran using the Yamani method, noble prophetic hadiths, and diverse literary and cultural segments, showcasing the benefits gained from the summer schools.
