Sana'a: The Office of Youth and Sports and the Youth Mobilization Unit in the General Mobilization in Sana'a Governorate concluded the sports championship for summer school students for the year 1447 AH, held under the slogan 'Knowledge and Jihad,' and sponsored by the Supreme Committee for Summer Activities, Courses and the local sub-committee in the governorate.
According to Yemen News Agency, the final match, held at Al-Thawra Stadium in the capital Sana'a, brought together the teams of Arhab and Sanhan districts, with Sanhan winning 3-1.
At the closing ceremony, the Deputy Governor for Education and Youth Affairs, Talib Dahan, emphasized the importance of sports activities in promoting awareness, discipline, and a spirit of cooperation among students, in addition to their role in discovering sporting talents and encouraging youth to invest their time in beneficial activities.
Meanwhile, the Director of the Office of Youth and Sports in the governorate, Abdul Mohsen Al-Sharif, explained that the 30-day championship included 15 sports teams, noting that it was part of the programs and activities accompanying the summer courses aimed at building an aware, educated generation committed to national and faith-based values.
