Sana'a: The activities of the summer courses concluded in the districts of the Al Bayda Quadrant (Al Bayda City, Rural Al Bayda, Dhi Na'im, Mukairas, Al Zahir, Maswarah, and As Sawma'ah) with various student performances. The participants in the performances embodied the level of discipline, knowledge, and skills they had acquired during the summer programs and courses. They chanted slogans affirming adherence to the faith-based identity and loyalty to God, His Messenger, and the flags of guidance, stressing the importance of summer schools in fortifying youth and adolescents against foreign cultures and destructive ideas.
According to Yemen News Agency, during the closing ceremony, which was attended by Shura Council member Abdullah Al Mufarri, the deputy governors Saleh Al Mansouri and Mohammed Al Humaiqani, and the district directors, the Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports, Ali Hadhban, praised the performances and creative presentations given by the students, which reflected the skills, abilities, and talents they had gained during the summer courses. He pointed out that the summer courses represented an educational and rehabilitative environment that reinforced their connection to the Holy Quran, pondering its meanings, and acquiring awareness and insight, in addition to gaining knowledge and skills in various fields.
Meanwhile, the students' statement appreciated the efforts of those in charge of the summer courses in implementing purposeful activities and programs, foremost among them the memorization and recitation of the Quran and the consolidation of the faith-based identity.
