Sanaa: The subcommittee for summer activities, courses, and general mobilization in Al Qubaytah district of Lahj governorate concluded today the activities of the summer courses for the year 1447 AH, with a closing and honoring ceremony under the slogan "Knowledge and Jihad". At the event, attended by the Deputy Governor Faisal Al Faqih, the General Mobilization official Jamil Al Soufi, and the Director of Al Qubaytah district Wahid Al Khader, the General Mobilization official for the southern governorates, Ibrahim Al Shahari, explained that the summer courses constituted a strategic station to provide students with beneficial sciences, foremost among them the Holy Quran, and to develop their scientific, innovative, and sports skills.
According to Yemen News Agency, Ibrahim Al Shahari praised the efforts made by the educational staff and those in charge of the summer centers, appreciating the great community interaction of parents who were keen to enroll their children to invest the vacation in ways that benefit them and their community. He pointed out that the success of this year's summer courses in Al Qubaytah reflects the official and popular interest in building a conscious generation fortified with the values of faith-based identity, capable of facing challenges and conspiracies targeting the social fabric of the nation.
For their part, the participants affirmed the importance of summer courses in fortifying youth against misguided cultures and soft war, pointing out that they are among the most prominent educational and awareness programs for developing abilities, refining skills, and preparing a responsible generation that contributes to serving its country and community, armed with faith-based values and loyalty to God, His Messenger, and his pure family.
The ceremony included creative and artistic segments reflecting the extent of benefit and the talents highlighted by the summer centers, in addition to honoring outstanding students with certificates and prizes, as well as honoring teachers, executive committees, and workers in appreciation of their efforts in ensuring the success of the activities and achieving their objectives.
