Dhamar: The education sector in Dhamar Governorate has successfully concluded a two-day workshop for district-level heads of educational-guidance departments and central supervisors.
According to Yemen News Agency, the workshop was organized by the Curriculum and Educational Planning Division – Educational Guidance Administration. It aimed to equip 27 participants with updated skills and knowledge in professional development and teaching, fostering a conducive learning environment that promotes the sharing of educational experiences and practices.
During the closing session, Mohammed Al-Hadi, head of the Education Sector in the governorate, emphasized the significance of such programs in enhancing the capacities of teachers and supervisors, aligning visions and efforts, and contributing to improved performance and educational advancement. He highlighted the workshop’s role in establishing unified standards for general plans, supervisory reports, and professional-development guidelines, aligning with the outcomes of the first national meeting of educational-guidance leaders. Al-Hadi pointed out that the initiative aims to improve education quality, elevate teacher efficiency, enhance the learning environment, and support psychological and educational assistance.
Saeed Al-Ghabri, the deputy head of the Education Sector, noted that the workshop is part of ongoing efforts to improve education outcomes, encourage innovation, and strengthen integration across administrative levels, including the governorate, districts, and schools.
Additionally, Mohammed Al-Matari, Director of Educational Guidance, and Ali Al-Dhabiani, Guidance Department Head, encouraged participants to implement the workshop’s findings to enhance teacher competency and establish a continuous monitoring and evaluation system to objectively assess the educational situation.
