Sana'a: The competitions of the second Martyr President Saleh Al-Sammad Football Championship for government ministries, authorities, and institutions, organized by the Ministry of Youth, continue at the Al-Dhurafi and Wehda Sana'a stadiums in the capital.
According to Yemen News Agency, the championship witnessed four matches. At the Al-Dhurafi stadium, the Ministry of Health team achieved a victory over the Ministry of Foreign Affairs team with three goals, after controlling the match and converting their superiority into goals that improved their standings.
In the second match at the same stadium, the Ministry of Youth and Sports team showcased an offensive strategy to outperform the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights team with four goals to one. The match was marked by a quick exchange of attacks before the youth team secured their win with tactical discipline.
At the Wehda stadium, the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology team continued its performance by securing a win over the Ministry of Oil team with five goals to nil. The match witnessed harmony between the team's lines and effective use of opportunities.
The round concluded with a victory for the Ministry of Economy and Trade over the Ministry of Electricity and Energy with seven goals to one. The match was attended by the Acting Minister of Economy, Trade, and Investment, Sam Al-Bishiri, and was noted for its offensive performance, reflecting the team's desire to compete for top positions.
This championship is part of the Ministry of Youth and Sports' efforts to revitalize sports within state institutions, strengthen bonds of brotherhood, and promote values of discipline, sportsmanship, and fair competition among the teams.
