Gradual Temperature Rise Expected Over Next 48 Hours

General

Sana'a: The National Center of Meteorology and Early Warning reported that outputs from numerical models and weather maps indicate a gradual rise in minimum temperatures during the night and early morning over the next 48 hours.

According to Yemen News Agency, the center forecast a gradual improvement in temperatures; however, minimum temperatures will generally remain cold in the governorates of Saada, Amran, Sana'a, Dhamar, Al-Bayda, and northern Ibb.

Weather conditions are likely to be relatively cold to cold in the highlands of Al-Dhalea, Lahj, and Abyan, and in parts of the plateaus and deserts of Al-Jawf, Marib, Shabwah, and Hadramout.

The center alerted citizens, especially the elderly, children, and patients in mountainous highlands, to the cold weather, calling on farmers to take the necessary precautions to protect their agricultural crops.
