Sanaa: Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi delivered his fourth Ramadan lecture of 1447 AH, focusing on the divine will as illustrated through the historical events in the story of Prophet Musa (PBUH) in Surah Al-Qasas. According to Yemen News Agency, the lecture emphasized how Allah's will, rooted in mercy and wisdom, rescues the oppressed and grants them deliverance from tyranny.
The lecture detailed the oppressive measures taken by Firaawn and Haman against the Children of Israel, including the slaughter of male infants. Sayyed al-Houthi explained that these actions reflect the tyrants' fear and their attempts to prevent any movement towards liberation. However, he highlighted that despite these measures, Allah's divine plan prevailed, bringing about change and deliverance for the oppressed.
Sayyed al-Houthi noted that divine laws are continuous and applicable to all ages and lands, stressing the importance of maintaining hope and trust in Allah's guidance. He drew parallels to contemporary struggles, specifically referencing Zionist-Jewish arrogance and tyranny, and underscored the enduring divine promise of deliverance for the oppressed as part of Allah's established practice.
He further elaborated on the crucial role of individuals chosen by Allah to lead and guide the oppressed towards liberation, drawing on the example of Prophet Musa's mission. The lecture emphasized the necessity of understanding and engaging with divine laws and taking practical steps towards achieving deliverance, rather than relying solely on prayer or passive hope.
Sayyed al-Houthi concluded by highlighting the significant role of women, particularly in the context of divine missions, using the example of Musa's mother. He emphasized the importance of women's roles within the family and society as part of the broader struggle against tyranny and oppression. The lecture concluded with prayers for success, mercy for martyrs, healing for the wounded, and victory for the oppressed.
