Sanaa: The leadership of the Cooperative Agricultural Union inspected today the activities of the 'Best of What Our Hands Have Produced' festival for productive families organized by the Al-Wahda Cooperative Agricultural Association in Al-Wahda district of the capital secretariat, which runs until the 26th of Shaban.

According to Yemen News Agency, Union head Mubarak al-Qaili, Secretary General Engineer Muhammad al-Qahoum, and department heads toured the festival's pavilions featuring food products, handicrafts, and local manufactures. The Union delegation heard from Association head Muhammad al-Nimr and Supervisory Committee head Tariq Jumaan about the festival's goals in creating direct marketing outlets for productive families and the role of mutual visits between associations, particularly the experience of Hudaydah governorate in knowledge transfer and developing exhibition organization mechanisms.

Al-Qaili affirmed that this activity represents a practical translation of the direction toward supporting local production. He called on all cooperative associations in the capital secretariat to replicate this model, viewing marketing festivals as an effective means to transition families from consumption to production, serving the resilient national economy and achieving self-sufficiency.

Al-Qahoum affirmed the Union's readiness to provide all facilities, technical and institutional support to associations, and supply necessary production inputs for productive families. He noted that small and medium enterprises are the cornerstone of cooperative work strategy and the battle of construction and development.

Jumaan expressed appreciation for the Union leadership's visit, describing it as a significant moral boost for participating families and a reflection of the integration between cooperative leadership and field bodies to advance the community's economic role.
