Al hodeidah: The branch of the General Authority for Regulating Land Transport Affairs and the heavy transport offices in Al Hodeidah Governorate held a cultural and commemorative evening to mark the anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad's birth.
According to Yemen News Agency, the event was attended by Ahmed Sharaf Al-Din, director of the authority's branch, and Abdulhafiz Al-Jahli, director of the heavy transport offices. In a speech on behalf of the organizers, Ammar Qabsi emphasized that commemorating the Prophet's birth renews the connection with his life, teachings, and recalls the transformation his message brought to humanity, establishing principles of justice, solidarity, and social responsibility. He noted that the occasion reflects the deep bond between the Yemeni people and the Prophet, providing an opportunity to draw inspiration from his life and stance in confronting challenges, strengthening social cohesion, and reaffirming responsibility toward society and the nation.
Abdulaziz Mujab, speaking on behalf of the community, remarked that the occasion invites reflection on the Prophet's life and his model of leadership, public affairs management, protection of people's interests, and preservation of their rights. In a speech on behalf of scholars, Sheikh Ali Soumal highlighted the significance of commemorating the Prophet's birth, saying the final Prophet and Messenger led one of the greatest transformations in human history and established a community based on faith, justice, solidarity, and responsibility. He called for using the occasion to raise children to love the Prophet, emulate his character, and remain connected to his life and teachings.
The evening featured a poem and devotional chants expressing joy at the anniversary of the Prophet's birth and highlighting aspects of his life and his esteemed place in the hearts of the Yemeni people.
