Dhamar:The Public Telecommunications Corporation's office and the General Postal Authority's branch in Dhamar province organized a cultural event on Tuesday to honor the families of martyrs in commemoration of the 1448 AH Annual Martyr's Day.
According to Yemen News Agency, Deputy Governor Mahmoud Al-Jabin highlighted the significance of the anniversary, which commemorates the sacrifices made by martyrs in defense of religion and the homeland. He urged for increased care and support for the families of those who have sacrificed their lives.
Officials at the event stressed that honoring the martyrs involves upholding the principles for which they gave their lives, taking care of their families, and instilling values of sacrifice and steadfastness in younger generations. They also noted that the achievements of the armed forces and frontline fighters are a reflection of the legacy left by the martyrs, contributing to the country's dignity, security, and stability.
