Raymah: A number of public events and cultural gatherings were held on Sunday across the districts of Raymah Governorate to commemorate the Prophet Muhammad's birthday for the year 1448 AH.
According to Yemen News Agency, in Mazhar District, two events were held in Al-Abara and Al-Rayyim sub-districts, attended by District Director Adel Al-Masawi. Speakers emphasized the importance of drawing lessons from the Prophet's life, strengthening ties with Prophet Muhammad, and actively participating in the activities marking the occasion.
In Bani Al-Shamakh and Al-Falaf sub-districts of Kusmah District, speakers described the Prophet's birthday as an annual spiritual and educational occasion that renews love for and emulation of the Prophet, contributing to instilling authentic Islamic values in younger generations.
A cultural gathering was also held at the center of Al-Jaafariyah District, attended by District Director Mohammed Al-Haidari. Speakers called for commemorating the occasion and expressing joy across the sub-districts and local communities, while strengthening national resilience and solidarity in preparation for participation in the governorate's central celebration.
In Bilad Al-Ta'am District, a public event was held at Al-Qadisiyah School, along with a cultural seminar in Al-Maskhan sub-district, attended by District Director Yahya Al-Hamami. The events highlighted the occasion as a spiritual and educational opportunity to renew loyalty and attachment to the Prophet of humanity, while calling for greater steadfastness in confronting current challenges.
The governorate's Youth and Sports Office also organized a seminar and cultural gathering in Bani Nahet, Al-Jabin District, reviewing key episodes from the Prophet's life and the values of sacrifice, patience, and struggle embodied in his life, while emphasizing the importance of following his example in confronting challenges.
Speakers at a cultural gathering in Al-Hadidiyah, Al-Jabin District, stressed the importance of drawing lessons from the Prophet's biography to strengthen internal cohesion in confronting adversaries, and praised Yemeni military operations against the Saudi aggression and its mercenaries.
Meanwhile, various events and activities were held at a number of schools across the districts to mark the occasion. Their programs emphasized following the Muhammadan path, adhering to the teachings and tolerant values of Islam, and strengthening the faith-based and Quranic cultural identity in confronting soft war and distorted cultures.
