Ibb: Al-Jazeera University in Ibb governorate today launched its program of events and activities for the Prophet's birthday anniversary for the year 1448 AH, by holding a cultural seminar titled "The Prophetic Guidance: A Way of Life and a Revival of Moral and Scientific Values," organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs in cooperation with the Al-Jazeera University Center and the University Student Forum.
According to Yemen News Agency, the seminar discussed the significance of commemorating the Prophet's birthday anniversary, the status of the noble Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him and his family, in the conscience of the nation, and the role of educational institutions in entrenching religious, moral, and scientific values among students, strengthening their connection to the Prophetic biography, and emulating its noble principles and values.
The seminar also addressed aspects related to Prophetic guidance and its role in building the university student's character, enhancing awareness, responsibility, and community service.
The Chairman of the University's Board of Trustees, Dr. Abdulraqeeb Subaih, explained in the first theme of the seminar that organizing this seminar comes within the framework of the university's interest in the cultural and awareness aspect, and enhancing religious and intellectual awareness among students, contributing to building a university character that combines academic achievement with commitment to values and noble morals.
He pointed out that commemorating the Prophet's birthday represents an opportunity to evoke the blessed biography of the noble Prophet, peace be upon him and his family, and to emulate him as the best example and the complete model in various aspects of life, affirming that the occasion means all Muslims and calls for embodying Prophetic values in word, deed, and behavior.
Subaih emphasized the importance of drawing inspiration from the values embodied by the noble Prophet in compassion, solidarity, and cooperation, and translating them into practical behavior that strengthens social cohesion and reinforces the bonds of brotherhood and solidarity among its members.
Meanwhile, the Academic Advisor, Dr. Ahmed Al-Haboub, reviewed in the second theme aspects of the noble Prophetic biography and the lessons it contains in building the individual and society, explaining that evoking the Prophetic biography renews awareness of the noble Prophet's message and the principles of guidance, justice, equality, and reforming people's lives it carried.
He affirmed that the challenges facing the nation require enhancing awareness among young people, adhering to the values and principles derived from the Prophetic approach, and strengthening the sense of responsibility towards religion, society, and the homeland, enabling them to contribute effectively to building a better future.
In the third theme, Dr. Mohammed Al-Juma'i discussed ways to invest the Prophet's birthday in entrenching the moral and social values brought by Al-Mustafa, peace be upon him and his family, explaining that the noble Prophet presented a complete model in managing life's affairs and building a society based on morality, justice, and cooperation.
He pointed out the importance of turning this occasion into a faith-based and educational station from which society draws values of strength, dignity, honor, and solidarity, and enhancing the presence of Prophetic morals in daily life, especially among youth and students.
